'D' last thing on earth?

Watzzzzzzzzzup............last nite was shifting light cabinets to grandma's place & i so dearly loved the popiah. It's so far the best tasting popiah I've tried around sg, except tat yesternite was not so much a wonderful 1. But, but, but...it's still the best popiah ard. (Forgot to took pics on tat)

Being so much MY ah ma's popiah lover...yes...i know how to cook it & I've even set a stall for selling it years back. But good luck does not come ard to me, when i intended to hire someone, ah ma insisted my aunt...ok, so there i go, i tried, then like abt one mth later, maybe she couldn't withstand the pay (some of her friends were paid more working in kopitiam/food court) or the tiredness, i just dunno, but anyway i would wish wat is good for her & is thankful for the time she help me... so i regretted, i regret not hiring someone else then. So, all my efforts went down the drain...I cut veggies nightly & I woke up early morn to cook, juggling my job still...

U know wat...I sell popiah for one simple reason, cos' one day I like everyone to try such nice-tasting popiah, it's not the $, but the liking. Cos' if I dun learn & do tis, no one can taste such popiah ever again. Not trying bullshitting here, but it is make up of at least 7-9 ingredients ALONE in the veggies, not counting the rest of the ingredients sprinkled on the veggies. Chillies & peanuts have to be custom-made. U gotta choose the peanut & fry it, & u gotta peel off the skin & pound it. I dun use egg & such stuff, instead 2 crunchie secret i use & chinese sausage. The cooking part is the technique, cos for flavour have to be standardise each time is crucial task, tasting & correct proportion of salt, sugar & xxxx, xxx plays an important part. Plus all ingredients must not be missed. missing some like dry shrimps will lose the flavor. gotta need a good taste bud too. Even the picking of sweet sauce - has gotta be the laughing buddha brand. But for a good popiah, if it's enhanced wif another thai xxx sauces. *muack* Perfect!

Yes.......something i can reveal is my popiah is NOT halal, unlike from others, & cos it is not halal will it make good taste as when u squeeze bite a mouth of my NON-CUT popiah, some oil & i don't know, like juices flowing down your fingertips, u gotta lick away. Mine is cooked through frying...interesting part is just pick up normal popiah veggies ONLY with your favo0urite chopstick & try it, & then mine...u will say surprisingly u can just have the whole pot of veggies with rice tis dinner-time. I dun use skin hawkers or restaurant use, though i buy cheap ones from the supermarket, it compliments perfectly with my fry-popiah...cos the 口感 (mouth-lingering feel's) is very Q. So, u dun cut it, u bite it off with the juices flowing. How i wish i can dun blog this but to let people just try how's the popiah. even if it's good or bad at least i can keep improving. Because cooking tis popiah is very tedious i dun get to eat it often. sometimes i just satisfy by buying normal popiah ( infact i like to try out popiah everywhere i go), but it is just different. Different because the cooking style & the flavor, down to the popiah skin, & chilli is TOTALLY different. I believe tat others is good as well but there's no similar flavor to compare.

Manys have tried ah ma's popiah...& happy to say, ppl dun stop eating at, at least 2. Another happy is spices-gourmet have tried & given comments to me.

Who knows? Maybe not everyone's gonna like ah ma's popiah...

'D' last thing on earth I want before I die / the world's exploding is to eat at least 2 ah ma's popiah.
